The purposes of the Society are to engage in research relating to the Town of Winchester, New Hampshire; to gather and preserve historical and genealogical data and artifacts; to promote research pertaining to the town’s history by other individuals and organizations; and to increase the awareness and interest of the public in the town’s history.

The Sheridan House Museum is open for guided tours between Memorial Day and Labor Day on Sundays Noon – 2 pm. We are also open by appointment or by chance. Our Facebook page is the best place to see our occasional events!
